Are there daily services?

 

Yes! Covid compliant services are offered daily at Chabad. For minyan times or to RSVP (required) please text Rabbi Eitan at 609-933-4792.

Is there Kosher food?

 

Yes! Kosher food is available as part of your meal plan at the Center for Jewish Life. You can check out the menu here. Please let us know if you need kosher food for you and your family during your visit. We are happy to make all arrangements!

 

On Shabbat and Holidays, a delicious three course meal is served at Chabad and is attended by over 100 students on average. If you are visiting for a weekend, please stop by – we would love to have you! Additionally, every Sunday night during the semester, you can attend Late Meal. It is a great way to catch up with people in a relaxing setting while enjoying dinner and snacks.

Are there Jewish learning opportunities?

 

Many. We offer classes and one-on-one learning sessions at all levels. Whether you are interested in learning anything from Hebrew to Jewish Philanthropy, or Talmud to Modern Jewish Philosophy, join us in our vibrant learning community. What is the Jewish community like, and will I fit in?

Princeton University, like in all other aspects of it's beautiful campus, has a vibrant and welcoming Jewish community. There are many Jewish resources available and students take advantage of them in different ways. There are many points of entry into the Jewish community which means that you will have the freedom to choose how you are involved.

YES! You will fit in. Princeton students very quickly become more like family than classmates. And, this family is always looking to grow. We can't wait for you to come to Princeton and join us!

Can I request to live with a Jewish roommate?

 

You cannot. As a freshman, all housing assignments are made randomly. However, as a sophomore, junior, and senior, you can choose to live with anyone on campus! Learn more about housing here.

Does it cost anything to attend Chabad events?

 

No! All events we host are open to the entire Princeton University community free of charge. Our activities are generously sponsored by the hundreds of parents and alumni who are our partners in everything we do. We invite you to partner with us.
